I started to develop this Diyanazman’s Word game( Roda Impian ) to
assist Diyana with one of her project papers a couple of years ago in
University Malaya.

My friend Hirud, the Flash master was not helping at all, so I
started to visit MPH almost everyday to read books about Flash and
surfed the internet for tutorials. During the game development
stage..the first thing I did was writing an Actionscript that can
rotate the circle just like a wheel. After that, I added flash movie
detection script…put in the puzzle…and..WALLAA !!…its completed!!!
It took me about 2 weeks to develop this game with zero knowledge in Flash until what you below is produced….

I remember many months ago Azman and I were strolling around the
shops at KLCC. I was looking for more tops and bottoms to buy and KLCC
is the best place to get those tiny tops and bottoms the way I like my
clothes to be.

Oh no! Please don’t get me wrong, I don’t wear skimpy clothes
because I want people to look at me. I do that because I like to have a
lot of challenge in my life.

When my in laws call to say that they are dropping by our place and
will arrive in a couple of hours; I can immediately practice my winning
the next Amazing Race Asia trophy! It doesn’t matter if they find out
that I run slower than Pak Dollah’s neuron movements, so they reject my
application to join the program. They will be sorry to know that I will
soon replace Eric Leong in hosting Casa Impian. No doubt I have all the
skills necessary……………

My husband’s cat Si Cemong, holds a very special place in his heart.
Often I find myself second compared to flourish amount of love and
attention Azman is showering the animal. He can spend a long time
explaining to me what beautiful black stripes Cemong has, and how
graceful it can be while making a mess out of the clothes I have folded
in my wardrobe.

Si Cemong is one greedy spoilt cat. I spent exactly 30 seconds to
walk from my seat to the kitchen, get the ketchup bottle and come back
to the dining table just to find my share of chicken for dinner has
disappeared.
My husband, who claims to love me till the end of time witnessed it
all. He saw how the nasty feline leaped from the floor and snatched my
precious fried drumstick, gobble the juicy tender flesh down its throat
and yet he did not move an inch of his muscles to stop it.
He did not shoo the cat away, he did not spare me my dinner. Instead he picked up the left over chicken bone……

Back in the 70’s & 80’s, every time the Malaysian soccer team
played at the Stadium Merdeka, the place would be jammed packed. On
those days Malaysia was one of the most respectable teams in Asia. Even
South Korea & Japan took their matches against our country very
seriously and it had been a routine for Malaysia to qualify to the
Olympics.

But as our stadiums got bigger and bigger… the number of Malaysian
soccer fans got smaller and smaller. Nowadays no Malaysian has actually
got faith in our own team anymore. Being humiliated by Philippines
& Laos had been a huge disaster for the country’s soccer scene. But
FAM seems not to care. All they seem to be thinking about is building
bigger stadiums..and all the blame will be placed on the coach…………

When my colleague Yani invited us to her wedding, my friends and I
were so excited. We planned the trip weeks in advance simply because
Yani’s hometown is situated all the way up in Fraser Hill, Pahang.
Fraser Hill is a famous tourist attraction for nature’s lovers. It is
situated 1500meters higher than sea level and about 2 and a half hours
drive from KL, which is pretty long time considering its distance of
just 100km away. From the city, we took a route to Rawang and then to
Kuala Kubu Baru. From then on the winding road to Fraser Hill can be
pretty mean to those with weak stomach, now don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Eight of us, Azman and I, Rena, Azam, Nize, Fiza, Sri and her fiancé
Fairus stayed at a 3rooms apartment at SilverPark Resort. We had…..

I think Azman is a very patient person. If I were handling a wife
like me I probably had long time ago fell for Mel Gibson because the
wife I have at home is most annoying. But nope Azman never does that
because he is duhh! not gay. And because he is also very patient. Isn’t
that the whole main point of me writing this paragraph? To tell that
Azman is patient?! then why the hell I go mentioning I have the hots
for Mel Gibson?? I thought I was gonna write about pizza??! Fishhh..
Oh I remember now! I was extremely exasperated and frustrated at Pizza
Hut recently, that I had annoyed my patient and cool Azman. You know lah men around 30 memanglah cool kan??? Faktor usia lah katakan…

It was Katak aka John Esham’s idea of a badminton match last
wednesday. Kesian Katak is one very lonely man all away in the waters
of Terengganu so I guessed why not but futsal would be better isnt it?
I managed to arrange for a friendly match with ex-sony colleague,
Sharol on Friday night at King Futsal, Bandar Baru Bangi.

To gather at least 5 people to play futsal is
actually an easy task for me.. i’ve many friends in Bandar Baru Bangi
that have always been waiting for my invitation. However my dilemma
was.. how can i make sure i was not inviting too many people?? We’ll
only be playing for an hour and i hope not to gather more 8 peoples for
this friendly match…But if i only invite 8 guys.. there’re
possibilities that only 5 will show up..siigghhh..

In the beginning, i only invited some of my close
friends that you can find chatting in my blog shoutbox.
Katak,Apeck,Tallang and Nize aka Johan agreed to join…..

Just before 5.30pm…my Japanese bosses would call me for a meeting.
This happens almost everyday. They call it the “Japanese speaking”
meeting because it will be conducted in the language of the raw fish
eating people. As someone who doesnt understand Japanese, my main
problem would not only be to understand what the discussion is all
about but to actually understand WHY they even bother to invite me for
such a meeting??! and to make things better, sometimes they even treat
me as someone really important that just HAVE to attend it!

The meeting normally takes more than 3 hours…and at times it takes a whole day.
For me, I just have to sit through it. ……….

Last Saturday, I was invited to University Malaya Za’ba Alumni Night.
This was the first time I’ve ever attended my former residential
college’s alumni dinner…thanks to my ex-college mate, Ayoi for the
invitation! He is currently Za’ba college supervisor & was also
Diyana’s lecturer at the Computer Sc Faculty when she studied there in
2001-2004.
It was a really nice dinner and what made it even better was most of
the attendees were the notorious A-Top & B-Top gang!! During my
stay in Za’ba college from 1994 ~ 1999, Za’ba was indisputable the best
college in University Malaya and the only college that managed to win
the overall title for both SUKMUM & Pertandingan Seni Pentas (PSP)
– currently known as Festival Seni (Art Fest) - in the same year.
However, due to “over” celebrating the victory during that historic year…….

Last whole week, I was working with our Japanese designer from the HQ.
We’re working on a new product design for 29” deflection yoke (DY) for
CRT TV. His name is Akio Murata and he’s the only Sony DY designer left
in Japan. To me, thats nothing shocking because I’m also the one and
only DY Designer left in Malaysia. That leaves just the two of us
designing DY for Sony in the whole world…..and
